The Crawford County region is northern
Michigan's choicest area! For outdoor recreation, the
opportunities are endless. Whether your interests are golf,
hunting,
fishing the famous AuSable River, canoeing and kayaking, snowmobiling
and ORVs (rentals of both available), XC skiing and snowshoeing
(rentals of both available), enjoying a walk in the
woods, or renting a quiet cabin for relaxation, you can find it all
here.
The airfield offers two 5,000 ft crosswind runways with three instrument approaches. The GA facility offers comfortable terminal amenities, fuel (coming), ramp tiedowns, and T-hangars. Rental cars and other ground transportation are available.
